Depression In A Whole New Level

Tonight was rather precious, what a night, you could say.
There's nothing greater than spending your dinner with people you get along with,
hearing new, juicy gossips here and there.

One particular thing that I was quite fond of was this story of a man, who apparently in depression.
Why you ask? Why else will a man be in depression--LOVE of course.
But you would guess that a man will have a love problem, at least that's what we thought.

The strange brother I have did have a love problem, and was depressed about it.
But in a whole different way.
A guy would be lonely around this season because they have no one, all alone.
This brother, was depressed because he has two girls, but couldn't decide which one to date.
wow, talk about being a player? nah, he has no skills for those kind of games.
It just so happens that he met two girls ( all inexperience in relationship) and now expecting something from him because he happens to be friendly to them.

And no, its not like he knows both of them that well, they are just casual friends.
so now he's stuck between which one should he go for, and asked my bestfriend and I for dinner to help him out. You guessed it right, I had to sit my butt down and hear about these stories.

He was looking for a "spark", but neither one had shown him anything.
but does a relationship really needs to start with a spark? No.
Those relationship based on "spark" are those that does not last long because that said spark is just a thing of a moment. Once the spark is gone, their so called love has gone bye-bye too.

A long lasting relationship needs to be develop with steady time. You don't need a spark or a flicker, and that's what I told him. And now the poor guy is more confused.
Apparently, now he doesn't know if he wants to date at all. Haha.

He basically sulk his head down for at least three days, because he was depressed about it.
Okay, I would understand if he was frustrated or confused, but to be depressed because you don't know which girl to date? A whole new level indeed.
Of course, everyone has different ways of reacting to things.
I should have expected this much from this guy since he's a walking confusion.
But he is still a good guy, so I tried to give him my best advice.

However, talking to this guy is like talking to a wall.
He says he gets it, but in actuality he really doesn't get it ..at all.
So did I just waste my saliva that whole night?
Nope, because apparently I myself had heard and talked about other stories out there.
Sure, what a night.
